Hi my pinoy lah!

Inapply yung pass ko sa malaysia while im still here in SG. Approve and deploy to KL in next two weeks... I do have lot of questions..

1. Ok lng ba mag work in Malaysia, not member of POEA?
2. Pwede po ba dyan na lng mag apply ng OWWA sa Phil Embassy in Malaysia?, just like in  SG.
3. Since it will take time to process membership in POEA. Not feasible mkauwi ng pinas to process it,  Meron bang agency sa pinas na sila na lng magproprocess nun while you're still working here in Malaysia.

You're immediate reply will be much appreciated!

Thanks

just want to ask po, anu po gamit nyong VISA dyan sa Singapore Tourist po ba or Working Visa na?
Ok lang na magwork ka kahit hindi ka member ng POEA pero magkakaproblema ka po kapag uuwi ka kc hahanapan ka ng OEC, so you still need to register sa pinas. Regarding po sa ibang tanung nyo mukang mas maganda pong papuntahin nyo one of your relative sa POEA sa pinas, ask them regarding your situation on what are you going to do, baka kasi pag nagtanung ka sa philippine embassy d2 sa malaysia pauwian ka hehe wag naman sana.....

to Mod Jhaypee and Jetty,

Since na experience nyo po rin ng direct hiring me tanong lng ako about this

Requirements and procedures :
1. You should have your passport. ( I have it already)
2. Have your medical exam (take note the hospital/clinic should be authorized by POEA or Malaysian Embassy because there are laboratory exams that are included for processing of visa) (Do you have any suggestions saan ako pwede mag papamedical)

3. It is expected that you will received 2 letters from the said employer (This letter is from MSC Immigration of Malaysia). One copy for Malaysian Embassy and the 2nd copy is your personal copy - *** take note you should not try open the embassy copy***
(Medyo nalilito ako about this letter, Different ba ito sa contract? Ano ba tawag sa letter na ito, pra ma request ko po sa employer ko)

4. Proceed to Malaysian Embassy for the processing of your reference visa(located in Makati in front of Mapua). Normally it is 3-4 working days.A friendly reminder - the best time for you to go to embassy is before 8 in the morning so that you will be the first person on line.
(Based on your experience how it will take, kasi contradicting yung statement sa baba na pwede pla express na 1 day lng)

Documents needed for embassy
(1) Ticket to Malaysia (reservation ticket is ok, as long as you indicate there your flight details. - we used that before) >>> Ano airline pwede me reservation ticket??
(2) Passport
(3) Medical Examinations result (Embassy copy)
(4) Letter from MDeC (MSC) - sent by your employer
(5) Reference visa processing fee is Php 550.00 only but if you want you can ask them if it's possible to have express which means 1day processing. You will pay Php 1,000.00, just tell them that you are from province and you don't have the place to stay. On the same day you will get your passport. Upon receiving your passport you can see a stamp : SINGLE ENTRY VISA with the reference based on the letter from MDeC.

5. Go to POEA located in Ortigas for document processing. (How long it will take for POEA processing)

Documents needed
1. Passport with Malaysian Embassy Stamp
2. Medical Examination Result (POEA copy)
3. Contract from your employer (bring with you also the letter from MDeC)
4. Payment (I think it's almost 5k, I can't remember it anymore)>>> (Pwede po malaman kung magkano nabayaran nyo po last year?)

You will undergo with PDOS (Pre Departure Orientation Seminar). After finishing your PDOS you may now get your receipt from POEA. Right after getting the POEA receipt, you can already go here instantly. (How long PDOS will take?)

Note  : Make sure that you have all photocopy all your documents before going to POEA right after Malaysian Embassy.

Since you already processed your POEA, you are already considered as OFW, so all you need to give to our immigration officer is the copy of POEA receipt and show your documents. As OFW, we are entitled of free travel and airport tax, so it is expected that you will not pay anything, just show your documents.

Malaysian Immigration :
Just show your personal copy of letter from MDeC (MSC) and passport. They will put a stamp report to Immigration HQ - just don't mind it , just give your passport to Company HR and they will process it for you.

That's it! Just wait for your Employment Pass (Working visa) from the company HR right after they process it from Immigration HQ.>>> (I think wla nko problema nito kasi may Epass nko)

Your immediate reply is appreciated..

Hi Skyrise, kaalis ko lang from Manila as OFW last week, direct hire din dito sa Malaysia. Let me share some of my experience sa processing ng papers.

Do you have any suggestions saan ako pwede mag papamedical?
- In my case Malaysian Embassy na mismo sa Makati nag-recommend ng medical, kung malapit ka lang sa Malaysia Embassy I suggest going there for advice/referral. Around 100 USD ang gastos ko sa medical. Next day mo makukuha ang results.

Medyo nalilito ako about this letter, Different ba ito sa contract?
This document does not have to be signed by your employer.

Based on your experience how it will take, kasi contradicting yung statement sa baba na pwede pla express na 1 day lng
- 3 days yung normal processing (550 pesos), if your not in a rush, ok na yan. Kung nagmamadali pwede 1 day processing, "under the table" eto (additional 1000) pesos.

Pwede po malaman kung magkano nabayaran nyo po last year?
- In my case first time OFW ako, 6300+ pesos(sorry di ko maalala yung butal)  binayaran ko sa POEA.

How long will it take for PDOS?
- 2 hours lang ito, pero yung buong POEA process inabot ako ng 3 days. Day 1: binigyan ako ng schedule for evaluation(the following day). Day 2: Evaluation ng documents and requirements and PDOS. Day 3: payment and release of eReceipt. Yung eReceipt ang hahanapin sa immigration sa Manila airport.
- Documents: Visa stamp from Malaysia Embassy sa Makati, Medical Results, Contract (dapat naka-indicate and duration, E.g. 2 years), MSC document, kung first time ng Employer mo mag-hire ng Pinoy meron pa atang nirerequire na additional document (you have to verify this, di ko sure)

I hope that helps.

skyrise whats your plan? db nasa malaysia ka na at mero ka ng pass? all you need to do is to give your passport to your HR and he will process everything? just want to share a scenario with you.

One of my friend is working as Software Developer here in Malaysia, his contract is already expired. As he end his contract the company terminated his visa (may 1 month remaining pa yata kc), and declare to MSC that end of contract na sia. Now he went back to the Philippines. After 1 month, the same company wants to hire him, so usually it would be a direct hire, but it will takes a month again to process everything, now what he does he went to malaysia as TOURIST, he gave his passport to his HR, and then the HR process everything. Now the problem here is his POEA membership and other benefits has expired already since his previous contract expired. He never report it to embassy the he signed a new contract since he went it as TOURIST. Everything went smooth until such a time gusto niang umuwi, december na kc pasko na hehehe, now what he did was very simple, he bought ticket and went back, He went to POEA, the POEA ask him to pay pag-ibig, phil health and OWA, hnd na sia pinagbayad ng POEA fee na 5k since same company naman pala un, so considered na renewal daw un pag ganun. So far binigyan naman sia ng OEC kaya nakabalik sia ng peacefully sa Malaysia. and guess what registered POEA parin, i think June sia pumasok as tourist sa malaysia hehehhe

tagu muna ako nandyan c boss

Thank mod jhaypee. Nasa Singapore pa po ako... yung sa situation ng kilala mo ksi employed na xa before, so renewal na ata yun. So madali na lng pag process nya.

I have already contacted th Phil Embassy here in singapore. Kaso nde pwede d2 mag apply ng OWWA not unless d2 ka nag work. They advise to work my papers sa Pinas, pra nde daw ako ma hassle.

Decided na rin ako umuwi muna, antay lng ako go signal, pra naman wala sabit pag alis ko papuntang Malaysia.

Usually ba Shouldered by company yung medical, POEA, membership,  Embassy processing?

San pla pwede magpapamedical? yung accredited ng Embassy/ POEA na rush... 2 weeks lng ksi bigay ng company to process the papers.

Salamat uli sa mga rereply.

Hi Guys,

A pleasant day to everyone!

Thanks Mod jhaypee for keeping it up up up...hehehe

@Erick - Thank you for answering all the questions of Skyrise with regards to the processing.

@Skyrise - Nowadays, POEA is a required document for processing your EP in Malaysia...You need to register your OWWA/POEA sa country na kung saan ka po mgwowork.

Usually, all expenses are refundable or shouldered by your company(some will give you money in advance - just like in my case...hehehe)

I believe Mod Jhaypee posted the name of the clinic along M.H del pilar in Manila(medyo mabilis ung sa kanya)...kindly check it from the forum.Ung sa akin kasi is Biomedix..3 days ang processing.. but if you were given 2 weeks, i think it should be enough to process your document. (-> un ay if my reference visa ka na po from Malaysia.)

3 days for your medical
3-4 days for your Malaysian Embassy (1 day id rush --ooppss tama bang ituro ko to?..hehehe)
1-2 days POEA

Ohh yeah, I remember, Mod Jhaypee, isang registration lang po sa POEA - if your name already exists with the same company no issues at all..kasi my registration ID ka na po.you will need to pay POEA/OWWA/PHIC if expired na po un.....Sa Malaysian Immigration naman when i ask them about POEA, once you successfully registered POEA ok na po daw un kasi my ID ka na and you don't need to process again..Accdg po yan sa immigration officer.

Well anyway a quick answer to your question "pag uwi mo hindi ka mahaharang sa pinas pero pag balik mo dun ka na mahaharang, requirements? renewal lang po, tapos may mga papabayad clang fees sau kasi member ka naman na dati, so renewal lang ng mga fees, kakailanganin din po nila ung contract mo"
