Hi Ungas,

8k is already big for a java developer not unless you have Team Lead or PM Role in PHL.  Grin

BTW, Emerio is IT consulting firm so you will still be deployed to certain company.

my two cents.

Hi Guys,

Newbie here. If you are earning Php 8+,+++ here in Manila i-consider mo ba ang RM6.5k na offer dyan? Now, after kong maipasa lahat ng client interviews they are offering me RM6.5k.

Thanks in advance!

around magkano savings mo sa current salary mo in PH, sa MY let say 2 - 2.5K RM budget per month medyo luho ka na nito then the rest is savings na.

but it's still up to you kung anong magiging decision mo about this. pero dapat if ever pupunta ka dito 100% decided ka.

If you are earning 80k+ in Pinas  and they only offer 6.5kRM which is approximately 90k+  parang  10k lng difference.
Not a worth to jump in.

Ilang years of experience mo and what technology?

just my two cents

take into consideration the tax. sa pinas pag single, 30%+?  Pag may asawa at anak, magkano?  Dito sa MY, magkano ba tax pag 6.5K ang sahod?

Tax ng 6.5KRM  nsa 8-12%  yan depnde rin sa company.

mataas na yung years of experience mo.  Dapat 8k+ kna nyan.

Cost of Living here in KL parang same lang sa atin.

Good luck ; )

It doesn't work like that, if your SGD rate  is 5k then you will be asking 10k RM.  Simply analyze certain factors like cost of living, purchase power, convenience, expenditures and saving of course.

IMO: If I have that salary in Pinas, I would not bother going abroad and would rather stay in my family and look after of my growing kids.

Thanks Guys for all your inputs! My wife and I decided not to take the offer. I'll just wait for another opportunity and I'll make sure that my asking salary is in RM. More power guys!
