Super Like ko ang reply mo Mod Jhaypee...

At least in life we need to learn how to appreciate small things that will teach us big lessons in life..You must have the purpose in our life..Ano po ba talaga ang gusto natin.. I believe we have the same case with Mod Jhaype, technicall speaking we belong to the same company (present sa kanya , previous nmn sa akin). At first I thought the offer was big, but later on I realized when I reached here it's very small and it doesn't even reach the minimum salary here..

Sad to accept that those days , we don't have people to help us out regarding cost of living and other expenses...so we just thought that the salary was big enough. If it so happened that you already signed the contract and started working here and you received a better offer, you may atleast hold on and finished your contract. Or if you have 2 years contract , kahit kunin mo lang 1year..May negative effect din po kasi yan sa mga future Pinoys who wanted to get Jobs here or anywhere... Mahirap po kasi if employer will think that...Ay Pinoy dati employee ko...di marunong sumunod sa usapan..then sire na ang pangalan nating mga pinoy..At least we think for others as well..

In 1 year time for sure you will received better offers..I can assure you that... kasi nakabuild ka n ng foundation mo dito sa Malaysia..Malay mo you will get more than twice the offer (sharing from my experience) hehehehe..

Good luck po sa ating lahat..san man po tayong sulok ng mundo...Please remeber to protect our integrity as Filipinos...We need to stand in our grounds and show them that we are Filipinos - we are proud of it. . Smiley

Another pa is yun hygiene haha

been reading the replies and i can say I have the same sentiment at first but eventually I have decided that comparing your salary with your colleagues,or other offers from other company and other work abroad would just ruin your stay in Malaysia and give you a daily agony and stress which definitely will do no good.

i think malaki na din maiipon ko for 1 year gawa nga ng less tax at cost of living dito.. kpag sa pinas din kc mahirap magipon dun hehe charge to exp nalng din and since work abroad malaki bagay din cguro to since plano ko din nman mag migrate.. hehe

sharing my opinion...

Im also under agency and i can say that i first i regret going here in Malaysia..  Why?

1. konti lang ung salary difference ko when i was in Ph
3. My job is not technical as i expected, like you.. i was also overwhelmed that im working abroad so i grabbed the opportunity...

But, u know, nothinig is perfect.. it is how you will deal with the situation..

1. I am under contract for 1 year, but i told myself that i will finish the contract before getting a new job
Reason: because eventhough ayaw ko sa agency ko.. i want to thank them for bringing me here.. they gave me opportunity and i want to give back lang ung kung ano ung nagawa nila for me..

2. I may not like my job, this may not the one i expected, but if ill go back to PH.. you know how hard to get a job there Smiley (IT pala ang job ko)

3. You are already here.. that means, you have more Opportunity Smiley just consider this as a stepping stone.. if you can find a new company that is willing to pay for your bond, or to buy you out from your agency .. then GO.. there is nothing wrong getting a new job.. ganto lang yan eh.. "if you dont like it.. then leave"

4. Ang mga Agency po, kumikita sila because of us.. so hanggang kaya nila kumita sayo.. gagawin nila.. i know its unfair.. but you have to accept it..

5. Everything happens for a reason po.. you are there coz my purpose si God sayo.. Smiley
malay mo ma promote ka.. or jan mo pala makikilala ung God's will for you (kung wala ka pa partner in life) hehehe.. im just trying to be positive here Cheesy

6. As much as possible, dont listen sa mga complaints.. kase wala naman magandang effect sayo un po.. negative lang, mas ndi mo ma aappreciate kung ano meron ka.. remember.. madami sa pinas ang mas magaling satin or may gusto ng position natin.. pero tayo ang nabigyan ng opportunity.. it is something to be thankful for diba.. Smiley)

God bless po Smiley Smiley Smiley

Wuahhh....

SUper Like ko ang post ni Jammmmeeeeee.....

Actually, galing po ako sa direct hire(mababa ang sahod)..then moved to consulting firm/agency...nung una medyo mababa talaga ang offer but later on...medyo ok na...

In addition sa post ni Jammee...Work hard , work wise and be optimistic....

Show them that you are an asset...for sure your salary will increase...and chances na i-buy out ka ng Client from your agency will become higher...with that masosolo mo pa ung salary mo...

Good luck and God bless sa ating lahat....

Hi Guys,

I'm new here.
An agency offered me 8500RM in KL.
Ask ko lng for average wage ng ASP NET developer jan with 4 years of experience po.
To help me decided on the offer I need your opinions.
Currently working as Software Engineer here in Manila.

thanks in advance!

Wow, is that for real?  Kasi usually .NET dev with 4 years exp usually have 5-7k RM here in KL.

Please also asked about benefits like VL/SL, hotel accomodation,  and if that is per day or monthly.
Kasi dun bumabawi agencies. malaki sahod pero wala benefits.

Thanks Skyrise for the quick response.
I think that was a monthly salary. Good to know medyo mataas ung offer compared sa average wage jn.
I'm still waiting for an email from them, anaps ung kausap ko yesterday.
I'll try to clarify those benefits you mentioned to them.
Post nlng ako dito for any updates.

thanks!
