Hi po,

Gandang gabi, tanong ko lang po if meron sa inyo or even kakilala nyo na nakapaghire na ng maid from Pinas? Aware po ba kayo sa requirements and process?

Maraming salamat po! Smiley

Tanong ko lang po kung may nakakaalam...

kung balak po naming dalhin yung maid namin from the philippines to malaysia:
1. saang agency kami lalapit?  agency sa philippines or agency sa malaysia?
2. may mai-rerecommend ba kayong agency?
3. how much po ang bayad sa agency and ano ang included sa service nila?
4. how much po ang minimum salary ng filipino maids ngayon sa malaysia?

Thanks!  Smiley

My boss is about to HIRE DH from PHIL to Malaysia. He is a PR in the Philippines, and a Malaysian Citizen. Last month, we went through immigration to ask on the process of "DIRECT HIRE of DH from PH". Sad to say, the immigration dont allow DIRECT HIRE, every process now must go to AGENCY. So the first thing you need to do is to look for an agency in the PH the can apply your DH maid, ( of course you need to pay  certain fee for processing of working permit but cheaper compare to the normal DH.)

hi jhaypee!

would you have an idea kung magkano magagastos if you go through the agency?  atsaka what does it mean by "cheaper compared to the normal DH?"  mas mura ba siya kesa kukuha ako ng from MY?

just in case lang you know... thanks so much ha!!! =)

hi, of course mas mahal pag sa MY ka na kumuha, mas mura pag sa agency sa PINAS ka kumuha, for example may kakilala ka na gusto maging DH, so papupuntahin mo na sia agency para mag apply lang ng permit, at para makarating dito, pls advise her to tell the agency na may AMO na sia dito, need nia lang mag process ng permit. makakatipid ka in the sense of

same goes with other fee, like POEA, philheatl, and pag-ibig, halos lahat ng fee papatungan nila, well he may  hate it , but this is there business.

Im not so sure with the pricing pero pag sa Malaysia around 5kRM to 6kRM bibigyan ka na nila ng DH agad, tapos babayaran mo nalang ung sahod nun every month.

hi jhaypee,

thanks so much!!!

I keep you posted.

We just fired our Pinay maid so we have to undergo the same bloody (and costly) process of getting a new one. sakit sa ulo! to save money, i'll be doing the leg work here in KL (going to immigration/phil embassy, etc).

hassle maghire ng Pinay maid dahil sa addtl requirements (POEA and agency letter)

i suggest you call the Phil Embassy to get referrals of accredited agencies who can help handle the maid processing. be ready to spend at least 3k to 8k for processing.  a portion of the fees can be legally deducted from the maid's salary.  the usual arrangement is first 3-6 mos half salary (due to deductions) and  the remainder in full.

legal salary is 400usd/1300Rm pero in practice hindi sinusunod ito dahil sobrang taas! average market rate for Filipino maids is around 700-1000rm.

for a Filipino employer to eligible, he should have a child/children under 15yrs old or a sick/ailing parent AND an income of at least Rm5,000/mo.

the maid should be not less than 21 and more than 45yrs old.  (and should have pleasing personality)  Grin

here are the other reqs from the Mal Immig Dept: http://www.imi.gov.my/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=230&Itemid=67&lang=en

sa POEA ibang requirements naman so please visit their website.

cheers and good luck!

Pinay din po sya and she have personal friends from both agency (PH and MY agencies) kaya mas mura sya compared sa malaysian agency talaga kukunin, i tried to inquire before sa rate ng agency 6k-7k ang charge nila included na po lahat.

As for the payment, hope this can help as guide po sa mga fees na binayaran namin...

Schedule of Payment in Hiring HSW.
A.   Employer
1.   Levy - RM466.60
2.  Fomema - RM200.00
3.  Air Ticket  - (depends on what airlines you book your HSW)
4.  Authentication - RM20.00 (Calling Visa to the Department of Foreign Affairs)
5.  Immigration Entry - 30.00  (Fetch the HSW at the Airport)

B.  Agency Fees
1.  Philippines - RM2,300 (All inclusive of agency fee, tesda training, poea, oec, insurance, visa Fedex)
2.  Malaysia - 1,000  (POLO authentication-Phil Embassy, agency fees, (Malaysia) Notary)

C.  Medical - RM 350 (approximately php5000.00, Medical shall be borne by the worker, must be under the panel clinic of PH Agency.)

As for the TESDA Training, required po sya para sa mga maid na 1st time lalabas ng bansa, i think they give consideration especially dun sa may mga experience na sa HSW but still it still depends on TESDA. I-evaluate muna nila yun papers ng nanny. The if ex-abroad naman yun maid na kukunin nyo, bibigyan sila ng reviewer nun agency then kelangan nilang ipasa yun exam na ibibigay ng TESDA bago sila mabigyan ng certificate na eligible sila to work abroad.

Bale po yun part "B. Agency Fees" yan na yun covered nun bayad nyo sa agency, total of 3300. then the rest kayo na po ang magbabayad at maglalakad. On our part la kami masyado leg work since tinulungan kami nun employer ng husband ko... Smiley

hope this help po, message na lang po kayo kung may tanong pa kayo, or better yet text text tau Tongue once decided na po kayo, i can give you the number nun contact namin sa paglalakad ng papers ni yaya namin...

more power MPL! Smiley
