hi adrian is a noy-pi!

if you're going to do the legwork (to save money which is also my goal... hehehe) does this mean na hindi ka na mag-a-agency?  Or may agency ka pa rin pero you'll do most of the process para mas mababa ang agency fees?

saan kaya pwede makita yung guidelines on salary deduction for the agency fees?  makakatulong na malaki kung pwede talaga yon.  kaya lang bago ko gawin yon, i have to make sure na legal kasi baka makulong ako.  hehe =)

thanks so much for the help!!! =)

hi jhiengle!

just wondering Adrian, since you have fired your MAID, why do you need to go same process again? I thought the agency will find a replacement for you?

it seems like there's a lot of progress here. Keep it up guys

Time Frame:
- 1 day medical
- 3days courier from Phils to Msia
- 4 to 5 days application of calling visa(provided all documents are there according to the checklist)
- 4 to 5 days POLO authentication
- 5 days tesda(can be done while POLO authentication is being processed)
- 4 to 5 days documentation of POES, OEC, Visa

Sad Actually it's a lesson learned from our part.

Pero aun nga po, from what i heard and what i know you can do so po na magdeduct sa salary ng maid as long as clear yun usapan ninyo about dito.

Smiley

Since she was our maid in Manila (so there was no actual recruitment done) and we just "used" the agency's name in acquiring the mid, so pagdating sa termination kami na rin ang may sagot.

Kasi kung yung agency ang magaayos lahat (finding the suitable maid, legwork in kl n manila, etc) e aabot talaga ng 6-8k ang damages.  but of course, you would need to give the letter of indemnity to the agency in case the maid does something illegal.   i saved a lot by doing the dirty jobs!

hi adrian,

thanks so much!  Smiley

We just fired our Pinay maid so we have to undergo the same bloody (and costly) process of getting a new one. sakit sa ulo! to save money, i'll be doing the leg work here in KL (going to immigration/phil embassy, etc).

hassle maghire ng Pinay maid dahil sa addtl requirements (POEA and agency letter)

i suggest you call the Phil Embassy to get referrals of accredited agencies who can help handle the maid processing. be ready to spend at least 3k to 8k for processing.  a portion of the fees can be legally deducted from the maid's salary.  the usual arrangement is first 3-6 mos half salary (due to deductions) and  the remainder in full.

Hello need nu ba DH direct hire na aaply sa agency please update me, thanks! Smiley
legal salary is 400usd/1300Rm pero in practice hindi sinusunod ito dahil sobrang taas! average market rate for Filipino maids is around 700-1000rm.

for a Filipino employer to eligible, he should have a child/children under 15yrs old or a sick/ailing parent AND an income of at least Rm5,000/mo.

the maid should be not less than 21 and more than 45yrs old.  (and should have pleasing personality)  Grin

here are the other reqs from the Mal Immig Dept: http://www.imi.gov.my/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=230&Itemid=67&lang=en

sa POEA ibang requirements naman so please visit their website.

cheers and good luck!
